Chakra 5
Have you ever struggled with finding the right thing to say, that explains what you really mean or how you feel? Have you been frustrated with poor communication in some really important situation? Then you know what a clogged fifth chakra feels like. What about your intuitive senses? Are they turned on or off?
Your fifth chakra controls: Will Power, Power of Choice. Personal choice. Speak your truth. Personal expression; following your dream using your power to create. Your psychic center. • Cleansing it opens connections to others; better communication, to gaining knowledge and better listening skills.
• Grace: Counsel. Your ability to let go and trust the Divine, releasing your will to Divine guidance.
• Imbalance: Insufficient interest in the present time transforms into Live for Today
• Shadow: Compromise of Integrity. Lessons related to will and self-expression, dominance, over-talking, run-away mouth, addictions, being judgmental, being critical.
Chakra 6
So many people think they don’t have intuition, but we all do. It shows up in odd ways, such as slowing down just before passing a lurking highway patrol. Or taking the scenic route and avoiding the traffic jam on your usual way home.
Or going on a shopping trip a few days before your usual day and buying extra groceries, then finding out later that the shelves were bare on your usual day. We all have intuition. It can be trained, used, and trusted.
Third Eye Chakra — The Mind. Service to the World. Your experience of relationship with everything and everyone; awareness that you are an eternal being. Where the Divine resides within us. Intuition, Intellect, Reason. Mental abilities and our ability to evaluate our beliefs and attitudes.
• Grace: Knowledge.
• Imbalance: Over-Concern for welfare of others transforms to Live & Let Live
• Shadow: Envy. Lessons related to feelings of inadequacy, not being open to other’s ideas, inability to learn from experience, your emotional intelligence. When clogged becomes spiritually arrogant, knowing facts about spirituality but not practicing them.
Chakra 7
Imagine a brilliant beam of light shining onto your head from the heavens. Imagine it flowing in through the top of your head and into your body, filling every nook and cranny. Imagine feeling that you are filled with Spirit. Breathe a sigh of relief.
Crown Chakra — Your connection to Spirit. Inner guidance. Doorway to heaven, the stars.
Higher consciousness, enlightenment. Wisdom, compassion. Energy center for spiritual sight. Insight into healing and trust.
Cleansing allows you to experience time as nonlinear and break free of the laws of cause and effect.
• Grace: Wisdom.
• Imbalance: Loneliness transforms to Reach Out to Others
• Shadow: Sloth. Lessons related to spirituality, sloth, laziness, procrastination. Inactivity in the presence of virtue. When clogged, mistaken belief that you’ve achieved enlightenment, not realizing that you have further to go before reaching the egoless state.
